The 3rd Annual ATSNJ BeachBlast FunRun 5k/1mile walk was a great success yesterday, Sunday, April 22, 2018. 125 participants ran or walked the Pt. Pleasant Boardwalk, raising money for two amazing organizations, SONJ and JDRF. The weather was perfect! Thank you to our sponsors: Monmouth Medical Center/RWJ, New Jersey Orthopedaedic Institute, PM Pediatrics, Seaview Orthopedics, Windsor Sports Medicine . Also a big thank you to Chris Flo from FLO FITNESS (exceptional warm up instruction) and DJ Bobeatz (his music created a fun and energetic atmosphere). Post-race Social Happy Hour hosted by Seabase Lounge at the White Sands Hotel – race participants enjoyed a complimentary drink and appetizers. Provisions donated from local Pt. Pleasant Beach businesses: Jersey Mike’s, Joe Leone’s, Wawa, Dunkin Donuts, Sundaes, Natures Reward. Last, a thank you to all our student volunteers from William Paterson University, Seton Hall University, Kean University, and Montclair State University. Everyone’s time, effort, enthusiasm and donations had a wonderful and positive impact to make the BeachBlast FunRun an amazing event!
