Committees

ATSNJ committees are made up of members committed to serve the membership through their contributions to the organization.

The Public Relations Committee works to bring awareness to New Jersey athletic trainers and the ATSNJ organization. Public relations efforts involve managing social media, generating press releases, and traditional advertising/marketing. ATSNJ members interested in becoming involved with the Public Relations Committee please contact committee chair at publicrelations@atsnj.org.

The ATSNJ Secondary School Committee leads several impactful initiatives that support education, professional development, and recognition within the athletic training community. Among its key projects is the High School Student Aide Workshop, which delivers educational sessions on a variety of sports medicine topics to more than 100 high school students each year. The committee also assists in the selection process for the NJSCA Hall of Fame Award, helping to recognize outstanding contributions to the profession. In addition, it coordinates a featured speaker and topic for the NJEA Annual Convention, further promoting professional learning opportunities for teachers. To support ongoing member engagement and resource sharing, the committee has produced two editions of the BeGreat newsletter and developed the New AT Survival Guide, a practical guide that offers real-world tips and insights from experienced committee members.
