Presidential Remarks 34th Annual Conference & Business Meeting

Ladies and Gentlemen,

One behalf of the Executive Committee of the Athletic Trainers’ Society of New Jersey, Inc. and conference committee co-chairs Mary Jane Rogers and Jessica Springstead, I’d like to welcome you to the 34th Annual Conference and Business Meeting. We’re excited to return to the hospitality of the DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center. The conference committee, with input and direction from New Jersey’s six institutions of higher learning that offer athletic training education programs, has put together a dynamic and exciting agenda.

This year’s conference will offer a total of seven continuing education units, including four evidence-based presentations. We’re very excited to welcome this year’s keynote speaker, 2020 National Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame Inductee, Dr. Jeff Konin, PhD, PT, ATC, FACSM, FNATA. Our student program, now in its 11th year, will run simultaneously on Sunday, providing our student membership an opportunity to interact with the professional members of our society. Please make a point to visit and support our students at the annual quiz bowl.
