Program Description

This program will focus on four distinct topics that Athletic Trainers have indicated they would like to learn more about.

  • Reduction of Shoulder Dislocations will discuss the prompt management of glenohumeral dislocations and offer suggestions for minimizing patient discomfort that may be associated with shoulder dislocation.
  • The Evaluation and Management of Hip/Groin Injuries will clarify the complexity of this joint and discuss the common clinical findings in order to improve decision making.
  • The Evaluation and Management of Shoulder Injuries will discuss common findings associated with shoulder injuries in order to improve clinical decision making and treatment of common shoulder pathology.
  • Sport Specialization is a growing concern for athletes and Athletic Trainers and identification of single sport training adaptations may help to prevent more significant injury
