Objectives
- Attendees will understand the most recent recommendations from the American College of Cardiology on screening the heart post-COVID infection, and its implications for RTP.
- Examine the literature as it relates to common manifestations in both the pulmonary and vascular systems as a result of COVID-19 infection, and its implications for screening and RTP.
- Reflect upon the protocols and mitigation strategies implemented in the NFL for COVID.
- Attendees will understand the value of contact tracing protocols in the environment of team sports.
- Reflect on strategies for management with prolonged “long hauler” patients/athletes post infection.
