Robb Rehberg and John Davis have been highlighted by NJ Monthly as some of the NFL's Key Figures in concussion and injury prevention.
Davis, retired Head Athletic Trainer at Montclair State University and current NFL Concussion Spotter, began his work in the NFL in 2011. Rehberg is currently working as the Senior Medical Adviser and Director of Game Day Operations for the NFL. Since 2015, he has been critical in the implementation of the AT Spotter's program within the NFL, where independent AT's are placed in a stadium booth to monitor for concussions and other injuries. It is stated that AT's are used for this role, as they more often see the unique display of behavior following an injury. Rehberg has worked alongside Davis to progress this program, and the field of athletic training.
