Casey Christy, MA, ATC, CSCS
Casey Christy earned his Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education with a specialization in Athletic Training from Glassboro State University in 1991. Casey attended Rowan University earning his Master of Arts, in Public Relations in 2003.
Casey currently serves as the athletic trainer at Eastern Camden County Regional School District, where he has held that position since 1994. Utilizing the experience he has gained at Eastern Camden County Regional School District as well as the experience from various other positions, Casey has become a sought after speaker. Thus, he has presented multiple topics at the state, eastern and national levels.
Casey is a dedicated family man who treats the athletic training profession as a second family. He has served on numerous state and community committees. Casey has given countless hours to help the care of student-athletes and enhance the profession of athletic training. Casey is currently an active member of the Haddon Heights Youth Association Board and the Adam Taliaferro Foundation Board. Casey has served on the following ATSNJ committees: governmental relations committee (co-chairperson), the executive council (past president, president, president-elect, and southern region representative), public relations committee (instrumental in creating first newsletter and website). Casey served as the president of the Athletic Trainers’ Society of New Jersey from 2005-2007.
In 2008, Casey received the Athletic Trainers’ Society of New Jersey Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award.
